Is the stove you bought at home defective? A story about pellet fuel and clinker.
Introduction to pellet fuel and clinker formation! We also accept inquiries about test combustion.
Recently, I tried burning all-wood pellets primarily made from cedar wood in a stove, and I observed the formation of a noticeable "clinker (fused ash)," so I would like to share this experience. The pellets I tested this time are classified as "all-wood pellets," and their appearance is quite different from "white pellets" even before combustion. When I burned these pellets in our EDILKAMIN POINT for a full day (about 9 hours), a large clump of ash remained in the combustion pot, resembling a biscuit. Since pellet stoves are heating appliances that you interact with daily, I think it’s best to try out several types of pellet fuel while paying attention to factors like "availability" and "heat output," and choose the one that feels the most suitable for you. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
